About Corretta Chantay

Hi, I’m Corretta → Let’s get to know each other.

For years, my life looked like what many would call “successful.”

I built, led, and poured into others as a therapist, a leader, a wife, and a mother.

And while those roles mattered… they were never meant to define me.

Because behind every title is a real person.

And I’ve learned—both professionally and personally—that when we live disconnected from ourselves, it shows up everywhere.

In our relationships.

In our decisions.

In the way we carry life.

My work didn’t just come from education.

It came from understanding what it means to hold space for others… and learning how to hold space for myself too.

What I Believe

Healing is not about becoming someone new.

It’s about returning to who you’ve always been.

You don’t need to perform to be worthy.

You don’t need to hide parts of yourself to be accepted.

And you don’t have to choose between your faith and your healing.

Both can exist. Both can lead.

Today, my work has expanded beyond traditional spaces.

After building and selling The People Place, I stepped into a new season—one that allows me to create on a larger scale.

Through Therapy on Demand and other initiatives, I’m focused on:

  • Expanding access to mental health care

  • Creating tools that meet people in real life

  • Building communities rooted in truth, growth, and connection

Because healing should not be limited to a room.
It should be something people can live out daily.
